Naturally in the Salzkammergut

160 kilometres of pistes open up a cross-border piste experience with all amenities such as state-of-the-art mountain lifts, perfect snowmaking, the 44-kilometre "Dachstein Tour" ski enjoyment circuit, four ski schools and just as many kinderlands and the Marcel Hirscher race course - always with a view of the high alpine panorama of the Dachstein and yet in a pleasantly soothing low mountain location.

The 3.6-kilometre Atomic Backland ski touring route in Russbach and a snowshoe trail with impressive views of the Dachstein glacier also await you.

NEW: Pure fun awaits in the new Family Park Dachstein West at the Edtalmbahn. A sunny location, optimal lift connections and various rails and jumps ensure plenty of excitement for visitors of all ages.

Hiking region Gosau

Hiking along the Dachstein

In Gosau, the Gosaukammbahn cable car floats down from Lake Gosausee towards the impressive rocky peaks of the Gosaukamm and takes hikers and wallowers into a world of inviting Alpine pastures and varied hiking routes. Families with small children can look forward to the pushchairs free of charge at the Gosaukamm cable car mountain station on the Zwieselalm in Gosau. The all-terrain models take you comfortably to one of the rustic mountain inns and enjoy the idyllic alpine landscape with lush green meadows and grazing cows and horses.

The 40 metre long panoramic ladder to the sky is the top attraction on the Zwieselalm for climbing enthusiasts. Free-floating and full of adrenalin, you climb up the ladder to heaven with a fantastic view of the Dachstein glacier, the surrounding mountains and the entire Gosau valley. The Intersport Via Ferrata leads in four stages over the first peaks of the Gosaukamm to the summit cross of the Großer Donnerkogel.

The hiking region in Salzburger Land, with the towns of Russbach and Annaberg, inspires with a limitless selection of hiking options for a wide range of requirements. Dachstein, Gosaukamm, Bischofsmütze and the Tennengebirge form the perfect backdrop for unforgettable hiking experiences.

In Bruno's mountain world in Russbach, children in particular get their money's worth. Children and visitors can let off steam at the play and puzzle stations and get to know Bruno and his friends better in the process. And in the meantime, older visitors can relax in the Steinbock Arena and enjoy the magnificent view of the Dachstein.
