Franzi's Dragonpark and the ski school on site are particularly popular with children and beginners.

Hiking on Upper Austria's sunniest high plateau

The Feuerkogel, Upper Austria's sunniest high plateau in Ebensee am Traunsee, offers 360-degree panoramic views of the Dachstein and the lake region, rustic alpine huts and countless hiking routes.

With more than 50 kilometres of hiking trails for families, groups and mountain enthusiasts, the Feuerkogel has something for everyone. Sporty hikers in particular will get their money's worth on the HTL Wels via ferrata, while leisurely hikers can enjoy a fantastic view from the impressive Europe Cross and the Alberfeldkogel. Longer tours to the Großer Höllkogel or the Riederhütte are also the starting point for a crossing of the Höllengebirge.
