On 29 March 2025, the Grünberg cable car will start the hiking season and take you comfortably up the Grünberg again.
On the Grünberg, the leisure facilities with the Grünberg-Flitzer summer toboggan run, adventure playground, low ropes course and a wide network of hiking trails offer adventure, relaxation and fun for the whole family.
Another highlight for young and old is the treetop walk Salzkammergut. Here you can experience unique perspectives high above the forest floor. Passing numerous information and adventure stations, the treetop path winds its way through the mixed mountain forest on the Grünberg. The highlight of the trail is the 39 metre high observation tower, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Traunsee, the Salzkammergut and the Dachstein from the top platform of the tower. And the 75 metre long tunnel slide takes you down the observation tower - pure action is guaranteed.
The offer is rounded off with signposted cycle paths, the paragliding launch site and the hiking trails to the Laudachsee nature reserve. This can be reached on foot from the mountain station in around 1 hour. The wonderful hiking trail on wide forest roads is ideal for seniors, families with small children and pushchairs.
