The Dachstein Krippenstein cable cars start the summer season on May 1st. The Krippenstein in the UNESCO World Heritage region in the Salzkammergut promises days full of nature experiences and lasting memories.
The cave world offers a special experience with the Koppenbrüller Cave in the valley, the gigantic Mammut Cave and the fascinating Dachstein Giant Ice Cave at the Schönbergalm middle station. The guided tour through the mystical Dachstein Giant Ice Cave with its 35-metre-long suspension bridge and the new light and sound show is guaranteed to thrill young and old alike.
And at the summit at 2,100 m above sea level, the 5fingers, Welterbeblick and Welterbespirale viewing platforms offer fantastic views of the mountain and lake panorama and the Dachstein glacier. The 8 m long walk-in Dachstein shark awaits you on the Heilbronn circular hiking trail and is a popular photo spot.
