Dachstein West starts the 2025 hiking season on May 10 with the Gosaukammbahn in Gosau, followed by the Hornbahn in Russbach on June 27 and the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg on June 29, 2025.

The Russbacher Hornbahn cable car takes you comfortably and easily up to the 1,450 m high Hornspitz. Once at the top, a magnificent view of the majestic Dachstein, Gosaukamm and Tennengebirge mountains opens up. In Bruno's mountain world, many fun play and learning stations invite you to have fun and adventure. Visit giant ant Emma, let off steam in the bird's nest and fossil sandpit and explore Bruno's world of alpine plants. And with the Ameisenexpress slow train, you can comfortably ride past cows, horses and green meadows to the Edtalmhütte 3 km away.
